Markz: Markus Myran, known by his stage name Markz, developed a passion for electronic music from a young age, dreaming of becoming a DJ. His first opportunity to try DJing came at a youth club in Gjøvik, where he was also introduced to music production. After years of dedicated learning and exploration, Markus began releasing music during high school. In 2014, he debuted with music releases under a different name, but it was in 2017 that Markz was truly born.
Markz began his music career producing Melbourne Bounce, and his talent was quickly recognized by other major artists. His music has been played on some of the world’s biggest stages, including Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, H2O Korea, and EDC. After finding success in Melbourne Bounce, Markz ventured into psy-trance, which quickly gained popularity in Scandinavia, Germany, and the Netherlands. Markz even topped psy-trance charts on Spotify.
In 2023, Markz attended the Hardstyle DNA Outdoor Festival, where he was completely captivated by hardstyle music. After this experience, Markz found his true passion and decided to focus on hardstyle music moving forward.
